This is my personal blog. I write about all sorts of things, but trending right now is dealing with teens (as a parent and as a teacher). I've also been known to rant, make lists, and get on my soapbox.
Finding the funny with 3 small kids, a husband, 3 cats, some sea monkeys and 2 hermit crabs who like to keep to themselves. Autism, Diabetes and food allergies live here and I clean a lot of poo -but I never fling it.

Former Nanny turned Frugal Mom. Juggling a toddler, a busy Hubby, and a spoiled dog all on one income. Watch me learn to take care of my own family, one coupon at a time.
A mother's musings. A wife's rants. A woman's words.
Can't imagine what two boys 16mths a part could do to the brain of a 30-something, career driven woman? It's not pretty...read, laugh and empathise in the pure joy and sheer terror motherhood brings (don't mention sleep it might just tip me over the edge).

I had 3 weeks to prepare to be a Mommy. I went from single career girl to Mommy/Housewife literally overnight. I was smack in the middle of the dating scene only to move in an fall for a man I never got to date. My life is backwards, but it sure is great.
Here you'll find simple, true Southern tales. I'll share the daily joys, chaos, and sometimes "pull your hair out" experiences of having small children in one's 40's, the occasional pitfalls of living on one professional salary, my life experiences, my luxury hotel obsession, and a whole lot of This and That!
How to help your child talk and grow smarter: sharing the secrets of child language development, better understanding and communication success for the whole family.

This year I have committed to taking at least one photograph a day, each and every day (yes, even weekends)...and I may even post them on the day they were taken :) The common thread in all my pictures this year will be my daughter Adeline. I hope you enjoy!
